The LIGHLIGHT workshop focuses on the development of luminous objects, through collaboration with three partner companies: iGuzzini lighting, for the part of lighting engineering; Ricehouse for the supply and experimentation with biomaterials; Arche 3D, for the development and realization of the prototypes through 3D printing.
In a dimension in which the environmental sustainability of the project now appears unavoidable, the lamps made are the outcome of an experimental path that has seen the combination of biomaterials derived from the waste of the rice production chain – geopolymer and thermoplastic – with the additive technology of 3D printing.
